Hi there,
Welcome to the very first installment of my new weekly newsletter, Fun Bazaar. It’ll be a collection of drawings I made throughout the week and other fun tidbits I saw around town.
Just recently wrapped up a binge of Jersey Shore Family Vacation. I’ve always enjoyed “the characters” on the show and it’s great background noise. I think I’ll do a Jersey Shore portrait for each weeks newsletter. Let me know who you want to see.
Tons of places in Japan offer apps to collect points for each time you visit a store or restaurant. I frequent the 7-11 app, and most recently found the Jonathan’s app. If you saw my first post then you know I enjoy drawing at Jonathan’s. Nana tagged along with me and we made use of the app to score some great deals on highballs and calamari. An excellent combination.
The absolute best part of visiting Jonathan’s, are the cat waiters.
Planet on a Chain is in Japan (from America) right now, which means I attended my first hardcore show in Tokyo. It was so fun, and can’t wait to go to more. I was too excited to draw during Planet on a Chain’s set, but here are some drawings of the first, three bands.
The Cubs and Dodgers are playing at the Tokyo Dome this coming week, and all of Tokyo is a buzz. Lots of promotions and events all around town. Couldn’t score tickets for any of the games unfortunately, but I’m planning to do some drawing outside of the Tokyo Dome this weekend. I’m predicting that the fans are gonna be wearing some fun outfits to draw.
